Endoscopic Proximal hamstring repair

Proximal hamstring injuries may be treated surgically if there is avulsion of bone with retraction of the tendon, complete tearing of all 3 hamstring tendons, or there are partial tears of the hamstring tendon that have not responded to conservative treatment. Advances in endoscopic techniques have made it possible to repair the proximal hamstring injuries with minimum damage to surrounding healthy tissue.
