Lysis of Adhesions with Manipulation under Anesthesia

Lysis of adhesions with manipulation under anesthesia is performed to improve range of motion of a stiff and painful knee. The adhesions may be formed after knee surgeries such as total or partial knee arthroplasty. The procedure can be performed arthroscopically for minimally invasive debridement of scar tissue. Manipulation of the knee is done under anesthesia to stretch the tissues around the joint and improve knee mobility.
