Dr. Wright specializes in orthopedic traumatology and direct anterior hip replacement surgery. He completed fellowship training at the prestigious Kuntscher Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at the University of Louisville, one of the nation’s busiest Level 1 trauma centers. There, he gained extensive experience managing complex injuries, including long bone and pelvic ring fractures, guiding patients from injury through recovery.
During his fellowship, Dr. Wright also trained under Dr. Jonathan Yerasimides, a leading authority in direct anterior hip replacement surgery. He now offers minimally invasive hip replacements using the advanced MAKO Robotic Navigation System, a technique that minimizes muscle trauma, speeds recovery, and ensures precise implant placement for optimal outcomes.
Dr. Wright’s academic journey reflects his dedication to excellence. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Seton Hall University, where he served as Chief Resident. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Wright achieved magna cum laude honors while excelling as a four-year varsity wrestler.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Wright is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Seton Hall University, where he mentors the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. His active role in education keeps him at the forefront of the latest advancements in orthopedic care.
